Crew sidecar entry runs on WordPress auth, but the access rule is separate from main-site powers.

Crew sign in.

Use a WordPress account with the `DDT Sidecar Staff` role or an admin role. Staff users get the front-end sidecar only, not the rest of wp-admin.

How the boundary works

The sidecar uses WordPress authentication, but access is granted by a dedicated sidecar capability. That keeps the public site clean and keeps staff out of site management unless a real WordPress role is also assigned.

  • `DDT Sidecar Staff` can work in the crew interface.
  • Admins can use both the crew interface and wp-admin.
  • Sidecar staff are redirected away from wp-admin automatically.
